To quickly and easily install generic USB drivers on your computer, you can use Zadig Download For Windows to build catalog files.
There is no need to install the program because it is distributed as a single executable file. Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows XP and beyond are supported. However, if you are a Win XP user, you will require an older Zadig version.
If you’re using Windows 10, the RTL-SDR will work without any issues. However, some customers have reported issues with the RTL-SDR after updating to Windows 10. As such, we though we’d let everyone know that reinstalling the SDR drivers using Zadig is usually the simplest way to fix things. The current version of Zadig can be downloaded from zadig.akeo.ie or if you use SDR# then it will already be in your SDR# folder.
