Indie developers Rik Nicol and Jeremy Clarke made the PC adventure game Goodboy Galaxy DEMO Download For Windows . As the first game developed for the Game Boy Advance in more than a decade, this galactic exploration platformer caused quite a stir on Kickstarter.

Button assignments are available in the settings, and the controls are intuitive. Using a combination of jumping, running, and shooting, you must clear a series of obstacles on your way to the end zone. There are also “friend cards” that you can acquire and use later in the game.

This Kickstarter demo for Goodboy Galaxy is an independent short story that will not be included in the full game. It’s a well-made adventure with hard gameplay, a large cast of memorable characters, and a wealth of hidden content. Even another indie retro action platformer (Orange Island) has a hidden character, but you’ll have to search closely to discover her.

Chapter Zero, the demo’s release name, is not intended to be playable in the final product. Language options include Japanese, English, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Arabic, and Chinese.
