The Intel Solid-State Drive (SSD) Toolbox is the company’s official SSD testing and diagnosis software (SSDs). The software can automatically recognize the disks that have been added to the computer and gather some basic data about them. Features such as automatic speed optimization, a rapid diagnostic tool, a secure data erasure tool, and firmware version checking and installation are all included. Intel Rapid Storage Technology (Intel RST) 11.0 or higher has the Trim functionality that can be used to optimize Intel SSD performance in RAID 0. The operating systems Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows Server 2012 do not support the Trim on RAID 0 feature.

For nearly a decade, Intel’s SSD Toolbox has been the go-to application for maintaining Intel SSDs; however, the firm is now transitioning away from it in favor of a replacement app dubbed the Intel Memory and Storage Tool.
