The pure yet implicitly statically typed Python code can be converted to efficient C++ with the help of Shed Skin Download For Windows , an experimental compiler. It can produce either self-contained applications or modules that can be utilized within other Python code.
It’s not just that programs are limited in their ability to type that use of the Python standard library is restricted (although about 25 common modules, such as random and re, are currently supported). There are several aspects of Python that aren’t supported either, including nested functions or an arbitrary amount of parameters (see the documentation for details).
When we last checked, version 0.94 of Shed Skin for Mac was available for download from the maker’s site. Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing if this app is accessible for no cost. Developer tools are the focus of this program. Because it is downloaded directly from the developer’s website, we cannot guarantee that the Mac program is virus-free. Mark Dufour is the man behind this free Mac app.
Shed Skin download is the working title for this project. It’s a pre-compiler for Python that can produce efficient code from Python scripts that are pure but statically generated. In addition to creating integrated code, it can produce standalone add-ons and programs.
The skin of a shed snake consists of two distinct parts, or “regions,” made up of scales that are joined at the edges by hinges. The hinge area is flexible, while the scales themselves are hard. Scale size varies greatly amongst species, with the dorsal scales being substantially smaller than the ventral ones. Existing literature describes the lipid composition of snake scales (Itoh et al., 1990 and Rigg and Barry, 1990).
