Description

The timestamp of a file is displayed in the Windows operating system, and it may be found under the General tab of the Properties window. The timestamps for the file’s creation, last update, and most recent access are all displayed here. However, a specialized application is needed to change these dates for whatever reason. SKTimeStamp Download For Windows is up to the task, since it not only allows you to make edits to the timestamp information displayed in the new tab in the Properties window but also displays it in the same format as described above.

And why should you even give a damn about this? In most cases, you won’t want others to know when a file was created, but there are times when doing so could be detrimental (for example, if you’ve given in a presentation but only finished it at 3 a.m. today). It’s also nice to have consistency in the “last modified” date of files when publishing them to the public or if you’re just trying to make everything appear nice and tidy.

Google’s Safe Browsing tool indicates that the developer’s site is secure. Despite this, you should still run the downloaded files using a free malware scanner just to be safe. Both 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, and 11 are supported by this PC application.

The add-on is a “simple shell extension” that creates a new tab in Explorer’s properties dialogue, as stated by the software’s developers. Files and folders can have their creation and modification dates altered. There are numerous versions of this program available for various systems, including Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, BSD, and Windows Explorer.

The list in Programs and Features is updated whenever a new software is installed on your computer. Simply navigate to Control Panel > Programs and Features to remove the software. When you’re ready to get rid of SKTimeStamp 1.3.3, the first thing you need do is go into Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall a program > SKTimeStamp 1.3.3.
