Stunnel

Stunnel Download for windows is a proxy that may be used to encrypt traffic using Transport Layer Security (TLS) on top of already-running client and server applications. Its architecture is well-suited for large-scale deployments since it prioritizes safety, portability, and scalability (including load balancing).

In order to provide SSL encryption between a remote client and a local (inetd-startable) or remote server, the stunnel program was developed. It can be used to enable SSL for widely-used inetd daemons like POP2, POP3, and IMAP servers without modifying the original code.

Secure encrypted connections can be made with the help of Stunnel, a proxy management and network encryption software, even on computers that lack native support for TSL and SSL.

Stunnel is a tool for Unix and Windows that encrypts TCP connections at will within SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). Without making any changes to the daemon’s source code, Stunnel can be used to provide encryption to non-SSL aware daemons and protocols (such as POP, IMAP, LDAP, etc.).
