The software was most recently updated on 6/4/2011 to version 10, the latest available version. It supports Windows Vista and lower versions, comes in a variety of languages including English, Spanish, and German, and is free to download.

All you have to do is hit the Scan APs button and the program will begin looking for nearby access points. It will display a list of these access points’ names, with the strongest signal one at the top. The software will alert you with an audible signal if it detects a new access point. You have the option of turning off this feature.

After starting the app, we can click the Scan APs button to begin scanning the nearby networks and display detailed information about each access point, including its signal strength, channel, type of security, service set identifier (SSID), and encryption status. Graphs displaying the strength of each signal will also be available.
