As an interoperability study, Xreveal relies solely on the public official AACS specification and does not include any decryption key/BD+ conversion tables (FUT). To function, Xreveal needs access to AACS decryption keys or BD+ FUTs. However, once you have the necessary keys, etc., you may easily bypass defenses using the streamlined user interface. Such programs have a wide range of applications, including the prevention of irretrievable data loss by making copies of CDs. Success in that endeavor will depend on your ability to disable the safeguards.
